This part specifies the determination methods for cobalt content in copper and copper alloys.
This method is applicable to the determination of cobalt content in copper and copper alloys. The determination scope is 0.00010%~0.0020%.
1.2 Principle
Dissolve the test sample with nitric acid, inject the generated test solution of certain volume into the electrothermal atomizer, measure the cobalt absorbance at the wavelength of 240.7nm with Zeeman effect atomic absorption spectrometer, and then calculate the mass fraction of cobalt in the adoption of working curve method.
1.3 Reagents
Unless otherwise stated, only identified analytical reagents and distilled water, deionized water or water with equivalent purity shall be used during analysis. Vessels used for test shall be thoroughly rinsed with water after being soaked with nitric acid (1.3.3) for 12h.
