When mineral cotton is used as the backing material, its bulk density shall not be lower than 80kg/m3, and it melting point not lower than 1,000℃. Meanwhile, before filling, the mineral cotton in its natural state shall be pre-compressed by not less than 30%, and then squeezed into the corresponding part to be firestopped. 3.0.4 When inorganic firestop material is used, the thickness of such material shall be consistent with that of penetration opening, and the joints subjected to firestop shall be filled with organic firestop material, and the filling depth shall not be less than 15mm. 3.0.5 When flexible organic firestop material is used, the filling depth of such material shall be equal to that of construction joint or annular gap, and the length shall be the full length of construction joint or annular gap. When used together with backing materials such as mineral cotton, the flexible organic firestop material shall have a filling depth of not be less than 15mm, and a length equal to the full length of construction joint or annular gap. The interior of construction joint or annular gap shall be completely filled with backing materials such as mineral cotton.   3.0.6 When a fireproof sealant is used, it shall be used together with backing materials such as mineral cotton, and it shall have a filling depth of not be less than 15mm, and a length equal to the full length of construction joint or annular gap. The interior of construction joint or annular gap shall be completely filled with backing materials such as mineral cotton. When the width of construction joint or annular gap is greater than or equal to 50mm, the filling depth of fireproof sealant shall not be less than 25mm. 3.0.7 When a fireproof sealing paint is used, its coating thickness should not be less than 3mm, its dry film thickness shall not be less than 2mm, its length shall be the full length of the construction joint, and its width shall be greater than that of the construction joint; the interior of the construction joint shall be completely filled with backing materials such as mineral cotton. The lap width of fireproof sealing paint shall not be less than 20mm. 3.0.8 When firestop pillows or firestop modules are used, they shall be stacked in a staggered and dense manner, and organic firestop materials shall be used to block the joints in corresponding parts. 3.0.9 When firestop plates are used, organic firestop materials shall be used to block the periphery and overlapping parts of the plates; when the plates are installed as covers, their periphery shall also be fixed with metal anchors, and the distance between the anchors should not be greater than 150mm. 3.0.10 When foam blocking material is used, its blocking thickness shall be consistent with that of the penetration opening. 3.0.11 When firestop belts or collars are used, either of them shall be set on both sides of a horizontally penetrated part. For a vertically penetrated part, they shall be set at the lower side of the part; for penetrated parts in corrosive places, firestop belts should be used. 3.0.12 When the penetration firestop system or penetration item is not rigid enough, steel mesh, incombustible slab/plate or bracket shall be used to support and fix them on both sides of horizontally penetrated parts or on lower sides of vertically penetrated parts. Fire protection measures shall be taken for supports such as steel mesh, incombustible plates or brackets and their fixtures with walls, floors or other structures. 3.0.13 When a penetrated item has a cavity structure, measures shall be taken to prevent the deformation of firestop materials or penetration firestop systems from affecting the firestop effect.   3.0.14 The penetration firestop systems for penetration openings on a floor shall not bear any other external loads; for the large parts to be firestopped, protective measures such as setting railings around the penetrated parts shall be taken, and obvious signs shall be set. 3.0.15 The combustion behavior, physical and chemical properties of firestop materials such as inorganic firestop materials, flexible organic firestop materials, fireproof sealants and foam firestop materials, and the fire resistance of penetration firestop system shall meet the relevant requirements of the current national standard GB 23864 Firestop materials. The combustion behavior, physical and chemical properties and fire resistance of the firestop collars shall meet the relevant requirements of the current industrial standard GA 304 Firestop collar for plastic pipes.
