Introduction of GB/T 5169.12-1999

本标准规定了固体电气绝缘材料及其他固体可燃材料的样品进行可燃性试验的灼热丝试验方法。试验结果可供评价上述各种材料的性能，即移去已被加热的灼热丝后火焰熄灭的能力和试样燃烧产生灼热颗粒不产生使试验样品下方的铺底层绢纸着火的能力。本试验方法不适用于确定设备中所有项目的可燃性，因为绝缘系统或可燃零件的大小结构以及邻近的金属或非金属零件的传热等对所使用材料的可燃性都有很大影响。此外，本试验方法也不适用于确定设备的防火性能或着火危险性。
