1 Scope
This document specifies the overall requirements, main contents, forms and preparation requirements of the instructions for use of toy products.
This document is applicable to the preparation of the instructions for use of toy products.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
toy
any product designed or clearly intended for use in play by children under 14 years of age
3.2
instruction for use
information provided to the user by the producer or service provider, including all necessary information on how to use the product or service safely and effectively

4 General requirements
4.1 Toy products shall be delivered with instruction for use.
4.2 The instruction for use shall contain information on the proper and safe use of the toys.
4.3 The instruction for use shall truly reflect the use effect of toy products, and shall not contain exaggerated or false content.
4.4 The content expression and structural arrangement of the instruction for use shall meet the requirements of GB/T 5296.1.
5 Main contents
5.1 Product name
The name of the toy products shall be indicated.
5.2 Product model or specification
The model or specification of the toy products shall be indicated. For series toy products, if multiple models or specifications are included, the names, specifications and main differences of each model shall be clearly listed in the product packaging or instruction for use.
5.3 Serial number of the applicable standard
The serial number of the applicable standard for the toy products shall be indicated.
Note: If the serial number of the applicable standard is not marked with the year number, the products are deemed to meet the requirements of the latest version of the valid standard.
5.4 Main compositions or materials
The names of the main components or materials of the toy products shall be indicated; for toy products containing fillings, the generic names and contents of the main components of the fabric and filling materials used shall also be indicated.
5.5 Applicable age range
The applicable age range for which the toy products are intended shall be indicated and shall meet the requirements of GB 6675.1, GB 6675.2 and GB/T 28022.
