In addition to a number of structural adjustments and editorial changes, the following technical deviations have been made with respect to the GB/T 5334-2005: a) The scope of application is changed to "This document is applicable to passenger car wheels as defined in GB/T 3730.1" (see Clause 1; Clause 1 of Edition 2005); b) Normative reference GB/T 3730.1 is added (see Clause 2); c) Terms and definitions are added (see Clause 3); d) The requirements for test wheels are added (see Clause 4); e) The indicators of performance requirements are changed to include additional performance requirements for test samples and spare wheels (see Clause 5; Clause 3 of Edition 2005); f) The test methods are changed; the test items, test samples, preparation and other contents are deleted, and re-divided into four parts: test equipment, load determination, test procedure and failure criteria (see Clause 6, Clause 4 of Edition 2005); g) The requirements for test equipment are changed, and the requirements for mounting surfaces of test wheel fasteners are added (see 6.1.1 and 6.2.1; 4.3.1 and 4.4.1 of Edition 2005); h) Part of the test procedures are changed and tightening torque requirements for wheel installation are added (see 6.1.3 and 6.2.3; 4.3.2 and 4.4.2 of Edition 2005); i) Example of bending fatigue test fixture is changed (see Figure 1; Figure 2 of Edition 2005); i) Example of radial fatigue test fixture is added (see Figure 2); This document has been redrafted and modified adoption of International Standard ISO 3006:2015 Road Vehicles — Passenger Car Wheels for Road Use — Test Methods. The surface of wheel fastener shall be smooth and flat, and it has the same assembly size characteristics as the fastener usually used on the vehicle.
