1 Scope This standard specifies the test methods for the determination of the flame retardance behaviour of various flame-retardant textiles, and the afterflame and afterglow of textiles and their charring tendency. This standard is applicable to the determination of the flame retardance behaviour of products like flame-retardant woven fabric, knitted fabric, coating product and laminated product. 2 Normative References The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this standard.
