1 Scope
This document specifies the requirements for portable general purpose luminaires.
This document is applicable to indoor and/or outdoor (e.g. for courtyard) portable general purpose luminaires with a supply voltage not exceeding 250 V and using an electric light source as the light source.
This document is not applicable to handlamps.

For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in Part 1[1) "Part 1" in this document refers to GB/T 7000.1.]1) and the following apply.

portable luminaire having series connected lamps permanently mounted and separated on a free-standing frame
Note: Candlestick luminaries can incorporate E5 or E10 lampholders.
4 General test requirements
The provisions of Clause 0 of Part 1 apply. The tests described in each appropriate section of Part 1 shall be carried out in the order listed in this document.
