1 Scope This standard specifies terms and definitions, classification, general requirements and test methods, inspection rules, delivery preparation and customer service requirements of the electrical machine for automatic control system and the combination (hereinafter referred to as "the electrical machine"). This standard provides general requirements and test methods of the electrical machine for the organizations with the following demands: a) The electrical machine products need to be verified to be provided with the capacity that meets requirements of customers and applicable laws and regulations; b) Ordering or product acceptance; c) Inspection basis; d) The product quality is under the supervision and control of the government or industry. Any inapplicable provisions due to characteristics of the electrical machine products may be deleted, but the deletion shall not affect that the electrical machine products are verified to be provided with the capacity that meets requirements of customers and applicable laws and regulations. The test methods specified in this standard are common and allowed for the selection of the user. This standard specifies basic requirements of the electrical machine. In case of specific requirements, especially specific requirements on the electric drive, the manufacturer shall develop special specifications. This standard shall be used together with the general or special specifications for the electrical machine. This standard is applicable to electrical machine for automatic control systems and the combination and general electrical machines may refer to it.
