1 Scope
This document specifies the technical requirements, sampling, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, filling, transportation, and storage for pure nitrogen, high-purity nitrogen, and ultra-high-purity nitrogen, and provides safety information for these gases.
This document applies to gaseous and liquid pure nitrogen, high-purity nitrogen, and ultra-high-purity nitrogen obtained by separation from air or through purification processes.

4 Technical Requirements
The technical requirements for pure nitrogen, high-purity nitrogen, and ultra-high-purity nitrogen shall comply with Table 1.
5 Sampling
Shall comply with GB/T 43306.
6 Test Methods
6.1 Purity of Pure, High-Purity, and Ultra-High-Purity Nitrogen
6.1.1 Calculation of Total Impurity Content
6.1.1.1 The total impurity content in gaseous pure, high-purity, and ultra-high-purity nitrogen shall be calculated using Formula (1).
6.2 Determination of Hydrogen, Oxygen, Argon, Carbon Monoxide, Carbon Dioxide, and Methane Content
6.2.1 Test Methods
6.2.1.1 The contents of hydrogen (H₂), argon (Ar), carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO₂), and methane (CH₄) shall be determined according to GB/T 28726.
6.2.1.2 The oxygen (O₂) content shall be determined according to GB/T 6285. Alternatively, GB/T 28124, GB/T 28726, GB/T 37182, or other equivalent methods may be used. In case of disputes, the method specified in GB/T 6285 shall serve as the arbitration method.
6.2.1.3 Other equivalent methods (as specified in 6.2.2) may be used for determining H₂, Ar, CO, CO₂, and CH₄. In case of disputes, the method specified in GB/T 28726 shall serve as the arbitration method.
6.2.2 Other Equivalent Test Methods
6.2.2.1 The contents of H₂, Ar, CO, CO₂, and CH₄ may be determined according to GB/T 37182.
6.2.2.2 The contents of H₂, CO, and CH₄ may be determined according to GB/T 28124.
6.2.2.3 The contents of CO, CO₂, and CH₄ may be determined according to GB/T 8984.
6.3 Determination of Moisture Content
6.3.1 Moisture Content in Pure Nitrogen
Shall be determined according to GB/T 5832.2. Alternatively, GB/T 5832.1, GB/T 5832.4, or other equivalent methods may be used. In case of disputes, the method specified in GB/T 5832.2 shall serve as the arbitration method.
6.3.2 Moisture Content in High-Purity and Ultra-High-Purity Nitrogen
Shall be determined according to GB/T 5832.3. Alternatively, GB/T 5832.1, GB/T 5832.2, GB/T 5832.4, or other equivalent methods may be used. In case of disputes, the method specified in GB/T 5832.3 shall serve as the arbitration method.
6.4 Tail Gas Treatment
During testing, measures shall be taken to prevent the accumulation of pure nitrogen, high-purity nitrogen, or ultra-high-purity nitrogen indoors.
7 Inspection Rules
7.1 Batch Sampling, Inspection, and Re-inspection for Cylinder-Filled Pure and High-Purity Nitrogen
7.1.1 A batch of cylinder-filled pure or high-purity nitrogen shall consist of products manufactured under continuous stable production conditions on the same production line, with a maximum batch size of 300 cylinders.
7.1.2 For cylinder-filled pure and high-purity nitrogen, sampling for inspection shall be conducted randomly according to the sampling quantities specified in Table 2.
