本标准规定了核仪器环境条件的分级、分类、分组、严酷等级和环境试验方法。本标准适用于实验室核仪器、同位素与辐射应用核仪器、放射性探矿与选矿核仪器、医用核仪器、核反应堆仪器和辐射防护仪器。本标准规定的核仪器环境条件的分组和试验方法是制定核仪器产品标准和有关文件中的环境试验条件和试验方法的依据。核仪器在规定环境条件下的性能要求不属本标准范围，由有关产品标准规定。超出本标准规定的应用环境条件和试验方法应由用户和厂家根据有关的产品标准协商解决。本标准不适用于核电厂安全级(1E级)核仪器。不能进行整机试验的设备，可分别进行分体试验。
