本标准规定了橡胶或橡胶制品中橡胶聚合物的化学定性鉴定方法。本标准适用于鉴别单独存在的或存在于橡胶制品中的天然橡胶（NR）和异戊橡胶（IR）、丁苯橡胶（SBR）、氯丁橡胶（CR）、丁腈橡胶（NBR）、丁基橡胶（IIR）等橡胶聚合物。对于并用橡胶建议不采用本标准，除非已用已知并用橡胶对本标准的可靠性进行确认后才可采用。
