1 Scope This document specifies the terms and definitions, boundary conditions, test environmental conditions and test preparation of test method for typical vehicle operating conditions of membrane electrode assembly (MEA) used in proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFC), as well as tests and test reports on adaptability to operating conditions of MEA used in PEMFC. This document is applicable to membrane electrode assemblies that meet the performance requirements proposed by the tested party. Single cells with an active area of 5 cm×5 cm shall be used for testing to evaluate the adaptability of membrane electrode assembly (MEA) to typical operating conditions of fuel cells, but the corresponding relationship between the life under accelerated test and actual life is not considered. 2 Normative references The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document.
