Rubber hoses and hose assemblies, wire or textile reinforced for dredging applications - Specification
1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification, material and structure, size and tolerance, technical requirements, test rules, marking and other requirements of 2 types, 8 classes and 3 grades of wire or textile reinforced pipeline rubber hoses and marine rubber hoses for dredging projects with nominal sizes ranging from 100 mm to 1,300 mm. Within each class, all grades and specifications have the same maximum working pressure.
This standard is applicable to rubber hoses that discharge or suck seawater, fresh water, silt, sand, coral and small stones with specific gravity in the range from 1.0 to 2.3 at ambient temperatures ranging from -20 ℃ ~ + 40 ℃.
