1 Scope
This standard specifies the methods of Latex foam-Determination of apparent density.
This standard is applicable to the determination of apparent density of foam products mainly made of natural latex and synthetic latex.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
apparent density
mass of latex foam per unit volume under specified temperature and humidity
4 Test apparatus and materials
4.1 Balance
The precision of balance is less than 0.1% of the specimen mass.
4.2 Measuring tools
It shall meet the requirements of HG/T 3054.
4.3 Linseed
Pure linseed with full grains and without moth, caked or other foreign matters.
4.4 Glass jar
A cylindrical transparent glass jar with a diameter of 25 cm~30 cm and a height of 15 cm~20 cm may be marked with scales (in mm) or without scales.
4.5 Foam cutter
The latex foam cutter, which does not make the specimen deformation and damage the specimen foam structure and with a flat cutting surface, shall be used.
