HG/T 4223-2025 Adhesives for wooden floor laying
1 Scope
This document specifies terms and definitions, classification and designation, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of adhesives for wooden floor laying.
This document is applicable to the bonding of surface wooden floor to cement mortar base floor, gypsum mortar base floor or foundation structure, and also to the bonding between the foundation structure layers of wooden floor.
2 Normative references
The following documents contain requirements which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this document. For dated references, only the edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document (including any amendments) applies.
GB 175 Common portland cement
GB/T 2943 Terms of adhesives
GB/T 7124 Adhesives - Determination of tensile lap-shear strength of rigid-to-rigid bonded assemblies
GB 11614 Plate glass
GB/T 14684 Sand for construction
GB 18583-2008 Indoor decorating and refurbishing materials - Limit of harmful substances of adhesives
GB 30982-2014 Limit of hazardous substances in construction adhesive

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 2943 and the following apply.
3.1
shear elongation
bonding components undergo shear stretching along the plane of the adhesive layer. Under the action of the shear force, the adhesive layer undergoes deformation. The maximum shear stretching length generated by the adhesive layer per unit thickness when the bonding components are damaged is the shear elongation, expressed as a percentage
3.2
hard adhesive
adhesive with tensile and shear strength of no less than 3.0 MPa
3.3
elastic adhesives
adhesives with a tensile shear strength of not less than 1.0 MPa and a shear elongation of not less than 200%
[Source: ISO 17178: 2013, 3.3, modified]
3.4
hard elastic adhesive
adhesive with a tensile shear strength of not less than 2.0 MPa and a shear elongation of not less than 100%
4 Classification and designation
4.1 Classification
4.1.1 Adhesives for wooden floor laying are denoted by the code MPJ.
4.1.2 The adhesives may be classified into solvent-based type (S), water-based type (W) and bulk type (B) based on different dispersion medium.
4.1.3 The adhesives may be classified into hard type (H), elastic type (E) and hard elastic type (HE) based on their nature.
4.2 Designation
The adhesives are designated in the following order: product name - classification - number of this standard.
Example: the product designation for bulk type of elastic adhesive for wooden floor laying is:
MPJ-B-E-HG/T 4223—202X
