1 Scope This standard specifies the labeling, materials, requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of borosilicate sight glasses for pressure pipelines. This standard is applicable to sight glasses made by physical strengthening and tempering process and used for observation holes of pressure pipelines (or containers).
