本标准规定了测定土壤和沉积物中多氯联苯的气相色谱-质谱法。
本标准适用于土壤和沉积物中7种指示性多氯联苯和12种共平面多氯联苯的测定。其他多氯联苯如果通过验证也可用本方法测定。
当取样量为10.0g、采用选择的离子扫描模式时，多氯联苯的方法检出限为0.4～0.6ug/kg，测定下限为1.6～2.4ug/kg，详见附录A。
