1 Scope
This standard specifies technical requirements such as material, tolerance, surface treatment and appearance quality as well as inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage for pressing cage of rolling bearing.
This standard is applicable to cage with ball bearing strips or ribbon cages without rivet holes, self-aligning ball bearing cages of turned-in claw type and sunflower-shape, composite cages of cylindrical roller bearings with grooved and double caps, spherical roller bearings cages of (symmetric roller) bowl-shape, needle bearing cages of K-shape and M-shape, angular contact ball bearing cages of C-shape, tapered roller bearing cages of basket-shape, thrust ball bearing cages of II-shape as well as self-aligning thrust roller bearing cages of pot-shape.
