本标准规定了烟气脱硫泵用机械密封的结构型式、技术要求、试验和检验方法、安装与使用要求、标志、包装、运输与贮存要求。
本标准适用于介质为石膏和石灰石浆液、氨水、氧化镁、亚硫酸钠的浆液，温度为5℃～120℃，pH值3～10，固体物重量浓度不大于40%，固体物粒径不大于61μm，密度小于1.3kg/L，氯离子含量不大于20000ppm，轴径不大于260mm的烟气脱硫泵用机械密封。
