1 Scope This standard specifies the types, basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage and other contents of electric single girder crane (hereinafter referred to as "crane"). This standard is applicable to general-purpose cranes using electric hoist as hoisting mechanism and also can be taken as reference to cranes in other forms or special-purpose cranes. This standard is not applicable to cranes working in the following environmental conditions: - The environment with explosive gas, combustible dust and corrosive gas; - Lifting molten metal, inflammables and explosives. 2 Normative References The following documents contain provisions which, through reference in this standard, constitute provisions of this standard.
