1 Scope This standard specifies the basic structure type, dimension, tread shape, fits between the wheel and rail, technical requirements, inspection rules, marking and packaging requirements of cylindrical rail wheels for cranes (hereinafter referred to as "wheels"). This standard is applicable to cylindrical rail wheels for bridge cranes and gantry cranes, and it may also be used as a reference for rail wheels for other cranes. 2 Normative references The following normative documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this standard.
