1 Scope This standard specifies test methods and equipment for measuring residual stress by the ring-core method in rotor forgings for turbine and generator as well as the procedure. This standard is applicable to determination of residual stress in various rotor forgings in JB/T 7025, JB/T 1265, JB/T 7027, JB/T 7026, JB/T 1267 and JB/T 7178 and also to that of other shaft forgings. 2 Normative References The following documents contain provisions which, through reference into this standard, constitute provisions of this standard. At time of publication, the editions indicated are valid.
