1 General Provisions 1.0.1 This code is formulated with a view to achieving safety and reliability, practicality, beautification, economy and rationality for metal and stone curtain wall engineering. 1.0.2 This code is applicable to the design, fabrication, installation and construction as well as acceptance of the following civil building metal and natural stone curtain wall (hereinafter referred to as "stone curtain wall") engineering: 1 Civil building metal curtain wall engineering with building height not larger than 150m; 2 Civil building stone curtain wall engineering with building height not larger than 100m and fortification intensity not larger than Intensity 8. 1.0.3 The overall process of design, fabrication, installation and construction of metal and stone curtain wall shall be subjected to quality control; the fabrication, installation and construction enterprise of metal and stone curtain wall engineering shall establish internal quality control criteria. 1.0.4 Materials, design, fabrication, installation and construction as well as acceptance of metal and stone curtain wall shall not only comply with this code, but also the requirements of the current relevant compulsory standards of the nation.
