1 General Provisions 1.0.1 This specification was developed with a view to improving technical level of roof engineering in China, propelling development of planted roof, improving area environment, and ensuring function and quality of planted roof. 1.0.2 This specification is applicable to design, construction and quality acceptance of constructed and existing roofs and plant engineering for roof of underground construction. 1.0.3 The planted roof design and construction shall meet the requirements of the national requirements regarding structural safety, environmental protection and building energy conservation. 1.0.4 Design, construction and quality acceptance of planted roof shall comply with not only the requirements of this specification, but also those specified in the current relevant standards of China.
