本标准规定了建筑装饰用不锈钢焊接的圆管、方管、矩形管管材的分类、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、包装、运输和贮存等。
本标准适用于建筑装饰、家具、一般机械结构部件以及其他装饰用不锈钢焊管。三角形、变直径（压花）管等有关的等壁厚异形不锈钢焊接铜管亦可参照使用。
