为适应公路工程建设发展需要，规范公路工程地质遥感勘察技术要求，制定本规范。
本规范适用于各等级公路新建、改扩建工程可行性研究阶段和初步勘察阶段工程地质遥感勘察。
公路工程地质遥感勘察内容可包括地形地貌、地层岩性、地质构造、不良地质、特殊性岩土遥感勘察。
公路工程地质遥感勘察流程应包括资料搜集与遥感图像处理、地质遥感解译、调查验证、成果提交。
公路工程地质遥感勘察宜优先开展，并应为后续其他工程地质勘察工作提供信息。
公路工程地质遥感勘察成果的调查验证宜实地开展，也可利用已有地质资料进行印证。
公路工程地质遥感勘察除应符合本规范的规定外，尚应符合国家和行业现行有关强制性标准的规定。
