本标准规定了在煤田地质勘探阶段利用煤芯煤样采用解吸法测定煤层气的方法。
本标准适用于正常钻进的钻孔和井下煤芯中气体的测定。
本标准不适用于严重漏水钻孔、煤层气喷出钻孔和井下倾斜钻孔煤芯中气体的测定,也不适用于岩芯中气体的测定。
