本标准规定了为避免具有圆锯片的林业机械作业时锯齿脱离锯片导致抛射对操作者产生的伤害而设置的隔板保护能力的试验方法和性能要求。本标准中所指的危险特指该试验用切削装置中锯齿的尺寸和抛射速度所产生的危险。
本标准适用于ISO6814定义的林业机械[包括由主机控制或驱动的整体式圆锯片或镶齿式圆锯片(例如:截冠锯、伐木锯、造材锯)]的防护隔板材料。
