1 Scope This standard specifies the general requirements, detection method, defective assessment, acceptance criteria and inspection report for the specification of non-destructive inspection method & acceptance (ultrasonic inspection and magnetic powder inspection) for important bearing members of mine-use hoisting vessel (such as cage and skip). This standard is applicable to the non-destructive inspection for the forging, steel plate and shaft requiring inspection in the important bearing members of the hoisting vessel, it is also applicable to the non-destructive inspection for the carrying shaft of the head sheave, but not applicable to the coarse-grained material such as the austenite and stainless steel piece.
