1 Scope
This standard specifies the design and layout requirements for the safety and relief valve piping related to the nuclear safety of PWR nuclear power plants (including active nuclear power plants and passive nuclear power plants).
It is applicable to the design of PWR nuclear power plant safety and relief valve piping. The piping is divided into the following categories:
a) piping with safety valve and relief valve for steam generators;
b) piping with safety valve and relief valve for pressure stabilizers;
c) piping with safety valve of safety level in other systems except reactor coolant system and main steam system, such as safety injection system, residual heat removal system, chemical and volume control system, equipment cooling water system, spent fuel pool cooling system, compressed air system, liquid waste treatment system and passive reactor core cooling system.
