1 Scope
This standard specifies the type, dimension, designation and technical requirements of nonmetallic gaskets for pressure vessel flanges.
This standard is applicable to nonmetallic gaskets for "A-type Socket-weld Flange" (NB/T 47021), "B-type Socket-weld Flange" (NB/T 47022) and "Welding Neck Flange" (NB/T 47023).
Note: the use of materials containing asbestos shall comply with requirements of related laws and regulations. During the production and use of gaskets containing asbestos, protective measures shall be taken to avoid any personal health hazard.
