1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules as well as marking, packaging, transportation and storage of down and feather mattress.
This standard is applicable to down and feather mattress with down & feathers as (all or part) fillers and various textile fabrics as wadding covers. This standard may be referred to for down and feather products for other similar purposes.

mattress products with 100% down and feathers as filler and with down content greater than or equal to 50%
3.2
feather mattress
mattress products with 100% down and feathers as filler and with down content less than 50%
3.3
mixed down and feather mattress
mattress products filled with down and feathers mixed with other materials
