QB/T 1653-2023 Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) injection molded sandals and slippers
1 Scope
This document specifies the requirements for general aspects, appearance, overall dimensional deviation of symmetrical parts of a pair of shoes, physical and mechanical properties, and restricted substances for polyvinyl chloride (PVC) injection molded sandals and slippers. It describes the corresponding test methods, and stipulates the inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage. Additionally, it provides a product classification suitable for technical specifications.
This document is applicable to the production, inspection and sales of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) injection molded sandals and slippers produced through injection molding using polyvinyl chloride resin as the main raw material, with appropriate amounts of plasticizers and other additives, colorants, and other auxiliary materials added.
This document does not apply to the production, inspection and sales of PVC injection molded sandals and slippers for daily wear by infants and young children aged 3 years and below (shoe size not greater than 170mm).

4 Classification
Shoes are classified into foamed shoes and non-foamed shoes according to their production process.
Shoes are classified into sandals and slippers according to their use.
5 General requirements
The shoes sizes shall meet the requirements of GB/T 3293.1. Accessories on the shoes shall meet the requirements of the corresponding material standards. The sizes and models of the shoe lasts shall be selected through negotiation between the supplier and the purchaser.
6 Requirements
6.1 Appearance
It shall meet those specified in Table 1.

Overall appearance Trimmed neatly and free of damage, scratches, and defects that affect wearing
Appearance and color variation of a pair of shoes The left and right shoes of a pair shall be basically symmetrical, and there shall be no obvious color variation at corresponding parts within a viewing distance of 1m (except for personalized designs)
Stain The cumulative area of stains on shoes of a pair shall not exceed 50mm2, and the area of any single stain shall not exceed 25mm2
Speckles and foreign matter The upper shall have no speckles with a major diameter of greater than 1.0mm and no foreign matter with a major diameter of greater than 1.5mm. The number of parts with foreign matter with a major diameter of 1.0mm to 1.5mm shall not exceed 3 on each of the front upper and back upper. Foreign matter with a major diameter of less than 1.0mm shall not form clusters
Upper sole joint The joint shall be free of sharp edges or corners
