1 Scope
This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, grading, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packing, transportation and storage of garment leather.
This standard is applicable to various kinds of garment leather made from skins of pig, cattle, sheep and other animals by adopting various technologies and tanning agents. Leather used for soft bags may refer to this standard.
This standard is not applicable to the leather used for gloves.
