QB/T 4671-2014 Test method for synthetic leather/artificial leather - Resistance to hydrolysis 1 Scope This standard specifies the test methods for determining the resistance to hydrolysis of synthetic leather/artificial leather, including the hydrolysis resistance method at constant temperature and humidity (method A), the alkali accelerated method at normal temperature (method B) and the alkali accelerated method at high temperature (method C). This standard is applicable to the resistance-to-hydrolysis test of polyurethane artificial leather and polyurethane synthetic leather. 2 Normative references The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. GB/T 629-1997 Chemical reagent - Sodium hydroxide GB/T 2918-1998 Plastics - Standard atmospheres for conditioning and testing GB/T 6682-2008 Water for analytical laboratory use - Specification and test methods GB/T 8949-2008 Polyurethane dry-processing artificial leather QB/T 2714-2005 Leather - Physical and mechanical tests - Determination of flex resistance 3 Principle The resistance to hydrolysis of the sample is evaluated by the change in the surface state and the change in the mechanical properties of the sample in the environment with a certain temperature and humidity or with a certain temperature and a certain concentration of lye solution for a specified time. 4 Test equipment and materials 4.1 Test equipment 4.1.1 Constant temperature and humidity tester The parameters shall meet the following requirements: ——Temperature: 0°C to 100°C; with an accuracy of ±0.5°C; ——Humidity: 30%RH to 95%RH; with an accuracy of ±3%RH. 4.1.2 Oven Temperature: 0°C to 200°C; with an accuracy of ±1°C. 4.2 Test materials 4.2.1 NaOH with analytical reagent grade It shall meet the requirements of GB/T 629-1997. 4.2.2 Distilled water It shall be Grade 3 as specified in GB/T 6682-2008. 4.2.3 Container with lids and resistant to 100°C The container shall not react with NaOH solution. 4.2.4 Container without lids and resistant to 100°C Beaker, weighing paper, measuring cylinder, glass rod. 5 Specimen preparation
