QC/T 660-2019 The test method for automobile air-conditioning compressors 1 Scope This standard specifies the test methods for automobile air-conditioning compressors. This standard is applicable to various types of pulley-driven automobile air-conditioning compressors using HFC-134a/HFO-1234yf refrigerants, and may also serve as a reference for compressors using other environmentally friendly refrigerants. 2 Normative references The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. GB/T 3785.1 Electroacoustics - Sound level meters - Part 1: Specifications GB/T 5773 The method of performance test for positive displacement refrigerant compressors GB/T 6283 Chemical products - Determination of water – Karl · Fischer method (general method) GB/T 10125-2012 Corrosion tests in artificial atmospheres - Salt spray tests GB/T 18655-2018 Vehicles, boats and internal combustion engines - Radio disturbance characteristics - Limits and methods of measurement for the protection of on-board receivers GB/T 21437.2-2008 Road vehicles - Electrical disturbances from conduction and coupling - Part 2: Electrical transient conduction along supply lines only GB/T 32691-2016 Automobile A/C electromagnetic clutch JB/T 4330-1999 Determination of noise emitted by refrigerating and air conditioning equipments JB/T 9058-1999 Measuring method of refrigerating equipment cleanliness 3 Test requirements 3.1 Ambient temperature Unless otherwise specified in this standard, the ambient temperature during test shall be between 5℃ and 35℃. 3.2 Refrigerants and refrigerant oils for tests The appropriate refrigerants and refrigerant oils shall be selected as specified by the design or as agreed upon between the supplier and the purchaser. 3.3 Refrigerant circulation system for test 3.3.1 The system shall be evacuated, undergo a pressure holding test, and then filled with the specified amount of refrigerant and refrigerant oil, ensuring no leakage of refrigerant or refrigerant oil. 3.3.2 The refrigerant and refrigerant oil within the system shall meet the design requirements. 3.4 Requirements for measuring instruments and meters 3.4.1 The instruments and meters used for tests shall be calibrated by the metrological or relevant authorities, of which the calibration certificates shall be valid. 3.4.2 Unless otherwise specified in this standard or relevant standards, the accuracy of the instruments and meters used for tests shall meet those specified in Table 1. For a variable displacement compressor, proper measures shall be taken to set the compressor to the maximum displacement state. Verification tests are allowed to be omitted during the test. The system shall reach a state of thermal equilibrium during the compressor test. Data shall be measured and recorded after the test conditions remain stabilized for 0.5h at intervals of 15min to 20min until the data from four consecutive measurements are as specified in Table 2. For automatically controlled test apparatus, a single measurement may be sufficient, provided that the indicated refrigerating capacity variation does not exceed ±1% over a period of at least 15min during its operation under stable conditions.
