1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging, transportation and storage of solenoid switch for automobile starters.
This standard is applicable to the solenoid switch for automobile starters (hereinafter referred to as solenoid switch).

3 Requirements
3.1 General requirements
The solenoid switch shall meet the requirements of this standard and shall be manufactured according to the drawings and technical documents approved through established procedure.
3.2 Materials
The materials for solenoid switch shall meet the corresponding material standards and customer requirements. All materials shall not contain asbestos or metal cadmium, and should not contain mercury, lead or hexavalent chromium.
