This standard specifies the determination method of hardness of composite solid propellant.
2 Specimens
2.1 The specimens are prepared as specified in QJ 1113 Test specimen for performance test of composite solid propellant and they are such prepared as to have smooth, flat and parallel upper and lower surfaces.
2.2 The specimen must be complete, not less than 6 mm in thickness, not less than 25 mm in width, and not less than 40 mm in length, or not less than 35 mm in length when LX-A rubber hardness tester is used.
