Technical Conditions for Rust Prevention Packing QB/T 1649-1992(2009) Polystyrene Foam Plastic Packaging Material QB/T 3516-1999 Kraft Paper QB/T 3523-1999 White Board 3 Design Principles 3.1 Basic principles 3.1.1 Reusable package with high rate of volume shall be selected and the loading rate of a single package shall be greater than or equal to 85%. 3.1.2 All the packages shall guarantee the quality of parts during transportation and the application quality by user unit and ensure that the quality does not change throughout the process. 3.1.3 The packed parts shall be stacked in a neat and orderly way with quality being guaranteed, and their quantity shall be visually checked. 3.1.4 The logistics process and manufacturing process shall be taken into consideration for all the packages for the convenience of transportation, handling, storage, distribution, access and use. 3.1.5 All the metal packages shall be provided with castor and front/rear towing devices under special requirements. 3.1.6 All the non-plastic packages shall be suitable for mechanical handling (e.g., hand operated hydraulic fork lift truck, fuel oil fork lift truck). 3.1.7 All the packages of parts must be imprinted with the mark of the supplier name. 3.1.8 All the packages shall guarantee the quality requirements of dust proofing, water proofing, moister proofing and the like of parts during transportation and storage. 3.1.9 All the packages shall guarantee the safety in transportation and handling process. 3.1.10 Packages that may cause the following problems will be rejected: a) Threatening the safety of operator; b) Damaging the quality of parts, raw and auxiliary materials or products; c) Packages of parts in violation of environmental protection laws and regulations. 3.1.11 Special packages disagreeing with this principle cannot be used until the supplier and Changan Company come to an agreement. 3.1.12 The package change application cannot be put into operation until obtaining the approval of Changan Company. 3.1.13 Continuously improving and optimizing packaging scheme shall be considered. 3.1.14 All the packaging materials (including packaging filler) of parts shall comply with corresponding national material standards and conform to environmental protection requirements as well as realize recycling and reuse as possible. 3.2 Basic design requirements 3.2.1 The SNP of medium and small parts (excluding standard parts and semi-standard parts) shall be in accordance with the sub-multiple or multiple of 2 and 10; the SNP of large parts shall at least meet the inventory needed by production within 30min according to line edge field condition. 3.2.2 Priority shall be given to design scheme of package which may be recycled and directly used on production line, so as to reduce operation steps of package in storage, transportation and use to the maximum. 3.2.3 All the consumptive packaging materials must be disposed reasonably and economically. 3.2.4 Priority shall be given to design scheme of working position apparatus which may be recycled and directly used on production line, so as to reduce operation steps of working position apparatus in storage, transportation and use to the maximum. 3.3 Main executive standards of various materials 3.3.1 All the packaging types and materials must conform to relevant national standards. 3.3.2 Plastic film shall meet those specified in GB/T 4456-2008. 3.3.3 The manufacture of corrugated box shall meet those specified in GB/T 6543-2008. 3.3.4 The calp box shall meet those specified in GB/T 6980-1995. 3.3.5 The manufacture of wooden box shall meet the relevant requirements of GB 12464-2002 and GB/T 7284-1998. 3.3.6 The inner packaging materials for preservation shall meet those specified in GB/T 12339-2008. 3.3.7 The materials of specialized apparatus shall be in strict accordance with drawing requirements. 3.4 Technical requirements for packaging protection 3.4.1 The parts shall be stacked neatly according to technical features of products and conditions of storage, transportation, loading and unloading; and an appropriate packaging protection method shall be adopted on the premise of guaranteeing the quality of parts. 3.4.2 Rustproof packaging of parts shall refer to GB/T 4879-1999. 3.4.3 If there are surface quality requirements for parts, isolation substances such as isolation paper, plastic film and foam must be adopted between parts to avoid bump; and the exposed thread shall be wrapped for protection. 3.4.4 If there are cleanliness requirements for parts, attention shall be paid to that polyethylene plastic bag inner package sealed with pressure-sensitive adhesive tape is generally adopted as the dustproof package; tubular port shall be provided with plug (blanking cap) or bundled with plastic film. 3.4.5 Tubular and strip parts shall be bundled with nylon cord every 5 or 10 pieces. Parts with length less than 500mm shall be bundled at middle by one turn; parts with length between 500mm and 1,000mm shall be bundled at both ends; for parts with length greater than 1,000mm, one bundling position is added for every 500mm increase in length, and the bundling position is uniformly distributed from both ends to center. 3.4.6 For parts with length greater than 1,000mm, coiling method may be adopted if it has no influence on the quality of parts, and the bundling shall be firm. 3.4.7 Small parts (buckle, armor tape, plastic nut etc.) must be placed in small packages and their quantity in each package shall not be greater than 500. 3.5 General requirements for package mark 3.5.1 For disposable packages like paper box and wooden box, the appearance marks shall include: product part No., product name, manufacturer, production date, quantity, weight, overall dimensions of package (length×width×height), consignee name, receiver address, graphic marks of package storage and transportation, marks of special requirements (military products, truck for export), etc. 3.5.2 The recyclable package of parts shall be provided with information like production batch No. and manufacturer of package. 3.5.3 If there are small packages inside, each small package shall be provided with a mark indicating the Part No., name, quantity, manufacturer, production date etc. 4 Design and Manufacture Standards of Plastic Logistics Containers 4.1 Dimensional range of plastic logistics container 4.1.1 The dimension and application scope of Category A universal plastic logistics container are shown in Table 1. The packaging engineer shall reasonably control package dimension in combination with line edge operation mode (e.g., whether roller racking, directly putting on production line, packing and putting on production line and the like are adopted) when evaluating the packaging scheme of domestic parts. 2. CC7 and CC8 box types are applicable to the stacking of parts with length greater than 800mm and static loading weight less than or equal to 10kg. 3. Plastic logistics containers used by the Company are purchased. 4.2 Material requirements 4.2.1 An empty box shall not have structural deformation or crack after being dropped freely to hard ground from 4m height. 4.2.2 It shall be guaranteed that the box has no structural deformation and crack after being filled with products. 4.2.3 It shall be guarantee that the box still can comply with the above two requirements after it has been normally used for at least 5 years.

Technical Conditions for Rust Prevention Packing QB/T 1649-1992(2009) Polystyrene Foam Plastic Packaging Material QB/T 3516-1999 Kraft Paper QB/T 3523-1999 White Board 3 Design Principles 3.1 Basic principles 3.1.1 Reusable package with high rate of volume shall be selected and the loading rate of a single package shall be greater than or equal to 85%. 3.1.2 All the packages shall guarantee the quality of parts during transportation and the application quality by user unit and ensure that the quality does not change throughout the process. 3.1.3 The packed parts shall be stacked in a neat and orderly way with quality being guaranteed, and their quantity shall be visually checked. 3.1.4 The logistics process and manufacturing process shall be taken into consideration for all the packages for the convenience of transportation, handling, storage, distribution, access and use. 3.1.5 All the metal packages shall be provided with castor and front/rear towing devices under special requirements. 3.1.6 All the non-plastic packages shall be suitable for mechanical handling (e.g., hand operated hydraulic fork lift truck, fuel oil fork lift truck). 3.1.7 All the packages of parts must be imprinted with the mark of the supplier name. 3.1.8 All the packages shall guarantee the quality requirements of dust proofing, water proofing, moister proofing and the like of parts during transportation and storage. 3.1.9 All the packages shall guarantee the safety in transportation and handling process. 3.1.10 Packages that may cause the following problems will be rejected: a) Threatening the safety of operator; b) Damaging the quality of parts, raw and auxiliary materials or products; c) Packages of parts in violation of environmental protection laws and regulations. 3.1.11 Special packages disagreeing with this principle cannot be used until the supplier and Changan Company come to an agreement. 3.1.12 The package change application cannot be put into operation until obtaining the approval of Changan Company. 3.1.13 Continuously improving and optimizing packaging scheme shall be considered. 3.1.14 All the packaging materials (including packaging filler) of parts shall comply with corresponding national material standards and conform to environmental protection requirements as well as realize recycling and reuse as possible. 3.2 Basic design requirements 3.2.1 The SNP of medium and small parts (excluding standard parts and semi-standard parts) shall be in accordance with the sub-multiple or multiple of 2 and 10; the SNP of large parts shall at least meet the inventory needed by production within 30min according to line edge field condition. 3.2.2 Priority shall be given to design scheme of package which may be recycled and directly used on production line, so as to reduce operation steps of package in storage, transportation and use to the maximum. 3.2.3 All the consumptive packaging materials must be disposed reasonably and economically. 3.2.4 Priority shall be given to design scheme of working position apparatus which may be recycled and directly used on production line, so as to reduce operation steps of working position apparatus in storage, transportation and use to the maximum. 3.3 Main executive standards of various materials 3.3.1 All the packaging types and materials must conform to relevant national standards. 3.3.2 Plastic film shall meet those specified in GB/T 4456-2008. 3.3.3 The manufacture of corrugated box shall meet those specified in GB/T 6543-2008. 3.3.4 The calp box shall meet those specified in GB/T 6980-1995. 3.3.5 The manufacture of wooden box shall meet the relevant requirements of GB 12464-2002 and GB/T 7284-1998. 3.3.6 The inner packaging materials for preservation shall meet those specified in GB/T 12339-2008. 3.3.7 The materials of specialized apparatus shall be in strict accordance with drawing requirements. 3.4 Technical requirements for packaging protection 3.4.1 The parts shall be stacked neatly according to technical features of products and conditions of storage, transportation, loading and unloading; and an appropriate packaging protection method shall be adopted on the premise of guaranteeing the quality of parts. 3.4.2 Rustproof packaging of parts shall refer to GB/T 4879-1999. 3.4.3 If there are surface quality requirements for parts, isolation substances such as isolation paper, plastic film and foam must be adopted between parts to avoid bump; and the exposed thread shall be wrapped for protection. 3.4.4 If there are cleanliness requirements for parts, attention shall be paid to that polyethylene plastic bag inner package sealed with pressure-sensitive adhesive tape is generally adopted as the dustproof package; tubular port shall be provided with plug (blanking cap) or bundled with plastic film. 3.4.5 Tubular and strip parts shall be bundled with nylon cord every 5 or 10 pieces. Parts with length less than 500mm shall be bundled at middle by one turn; parts with length between 500mm and 1,000mm shall be bundled at both ends; for parts with length greater than 1,000mm, one bundling position is added for every 500mm increase in length, and the bundling position is uniformly distributed from both ends to center. 3.4.6 For parts with length greater than 1,000mm, coiling method may be adopted if it has no influence on the quality of parts, and the bundling shall be firm. 3.4.7 Small parts (buckle, armor tape, plastic nut etc.) must be placed in small packages and their quantity in each package shall not be greater than 500. 3.5 General requirements for package mark 3.5.1 For disposable packages like paper box and wooden box, the appearance marks shall include: product part No., product name, manufacturer, production date, quantity, weight, overall dimensions of package (length×width×height), consignee name, receiver address, graphic marks of package storage and transportation, marks of special requirements (military products, truck for export), etc. 3.5.2 The recyclable package of parts shall be provided with information like production batch No. and manufacturer of package. 3.5.3 If there are small packages inside, each small package shall be provided with a mark indicating the Part No., name, quantity, manufacturer, production date etc. 4 Design and Manufacture Standards of Plastic Logistics Containers 4.1 Dimensional range of plastic logistics container 4.1.1 The dimension and application scope of Category A universal plastic logistics container are shown in Table 1. CC7 and CC8 box types are applicable to the stacking of parts with length greater than 800mm and static loading weight less than or equal to 10kg. 3. Plastic logistics containers used by the Company are purchased. 4.2 Material requirements 4.2.1 An empty box shall not have structural deformation or crack after being dropped freely to hard ground from 4m height. 4.2.2 It shall be guaranteed that the box has no structural deformation and crack after being filled with products. 4.2.3 It shall be guarantee that the box still can comply with the above two requirements after it has been normally used for at least 5 years.
