1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements and check and verification of the monitoring system for stationary hydrogen production plant with water electrolysis (hereinafter referred to as the “monitoring system”).
This standard is applicable to the design, production, installation, and inspection of monitoring system.

3 Technical requirements
3.1 Composition
The monitoring system consists of transmitter, data acquisition and processing unit, alarm device, communication network and data processing center. See Figure 1.

3.2 Function
The monitoring system shall be able to monitor the following parameters and realize on-site and remote alarm:
a) working pressure, temperature, voltage, current, separator liquid level and hydrogen purity of hydrogen generator;
b) hydrogen storage pressure of the hydrogen storage tank;
c) hydrogen leakage concentration in hydrogen production chamber and hydrogen storage chamber;
d) mains power supply status.
