1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and package, marking, transportation, storage, and safety requirements etc of purified terephthalic acid for industrial use (hereinafter referred to as PTA ).
This standard is applicable to industrial PTA oxidized and refined with petroleum paraxylene as raw material. This product is mainly applied as the raw material for the production of polyester pellet, long and short polyester fiber and chemical products.
