1 Application Scope
This standard is applicable to the assembling of axle box device when 42724T, 152724T, 42726T, 152726T single-row centripetal short cylindrical roller bearings are equipped for newly-made passenger vehicle on standard-gauge railway.
2 Working Conditions of Assembling
2.1 For bearing, its unsealing, cleaning, inspection, measurement and assembling on axle and inside axle box shall be carried out in clean and bright special work room. During overhauling, the bearing shall be disassembled in the working room different from where it is detected and assembled. The storage of bearing shall be dust-proof and rust-proof and bearing shall be transported and placed in special box and workbench other than on the ground.
2.2 The temperature in work room shall not be less than 10℃. Axle, bearing, axle box and dust guard ring must be measured under the same temperature. Before the measurement, the tested parts and measuring tools must be kept in the same temperature for over 8h; if this activity is unable to be carried out in the same room, the temperature difference in different rooms shall not exceed 5℃.
2.3 Bearing must be assembled with special equipment and tool which shall have good performance and be clean.
2.4 Before assembling, bearing and its attachments shall be cleaned in special rinse tank respectively and isolation fence shall be arranged in the lower part of rinse tank. Clean white cloth rather than cotton yarn shall be used for wiping the bearing.
2.5 Measuring instruments and tools must be verified regularly according to the specification, but the maximum duration shall not exceed half a year so as to ensure their precision.
3 Basic Requirements for Assembling Bearing Axle Box Device
3.1 The quality of assembled axle, bearing, axle box and their attachments must meet the requirements of relevant drawings, technical standards and this standard. When the requirements are not met, assembling is forbidden.
3.2 The bearings produced by different manufacturers shall not be assembled in the same axle box.
