1 Subject Content and Application Scope This standard specifies the luminous intensity for signal light of railway (hereinafter referred to as luminous intensity), light beam divergence angle of color-light signal, color-light signal with partially divergent lens, light beam partial divergence angle of grade crossing signal as well as the testing methods.This standard is applicable to railway high column, short-lens-type color-light signal, signal indicator, semaphore signal, grade crossing signal, hand signal light, mobile signal light, train sidelight, locomotive marker light as well as color-light signal with partially divergent lens used in curve. This standard is not applicable to colour searchlight signal, locomotive signal light and signal light using oil lamp as light source. 2 Normative References
