1 Scope This standard specifies production and inspection requirements of Grade A~H (Appendix A) carbon steel forgings (except axle). This standard is applicable to carbon steel forgings for rolling stock and other railway equipment. 2 Normative References The following standards contained provisions which, through reference in this standard, constitute provisions of this standard. Steels with the carbon content of 0.25~0.40 may be in accordance with the requirements of GB 699 and GB 700.
