This standard specifies the application, design and manufacturing, and test requirements of alarm device for monitoring locomotive bearing temperature (hereinafter referred to as device), and specifies the basic requirements of software and hardware which are required for the common exchange of devices, and the basic requirements of its sensor network.
This standard is applicable to the alarm device for monitoring the temperature of locomotive (including motor vehicle of electric multiple unit) axle box bearing, traction motor bearing, rolling suspension bearing or wheelset hollow-axle bearing, etc.
