碳纳米管纤维是一种新型的纳米碳纤维材料,碳纳米管纤维丝束是由碳纳米管纤维并股融合而成的纤维束材料,具有高强高韧、高导电、高导热等优异特性。碳纳米管纤维及丝束的直径作为基础参数,是衡量其力、电、热性能关键物理量,也是与其它高性能纤维对比的关键参数。然而,作为一种新型的高性能纤维材料,因与其它纤维材料在结构和组装形态上均存在较大差异,现有的天然纤维、化学纤维及碳纤维相关的直径的标准并不适用,各相关研究单位在测试过程中采用的测试方法也并不统一,获得的结果也无法在统一的标准下进行比较。基于此,本测试方法根据该领域公认的、常用的测试手段规定了碳纳米管纤维及丝束直径及横截面积的测试方法,提出了一种合理的、高精度的且相对简单的测试方法,从试样选取、尺寸、测试设备、测试结果计算等方面进行了规范,形成了统一的碳纳米管纤维及丝束直径和横截面积的测试标准,为碳纳米管纤维作为高性能纤维在相关领域的应用提供支撑
