1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification, designation and model, technical requirements, inspection methods, application methods, nameplates and instructions of air disinfecting machines.
This standard is applicable to the air disinfecting machines for disinfection using physical agents, chemical agents and other agents.

For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

air disinfecting machine
device that has independent power and can operate independently, and is used to kill or remove the microorganisms in indoor air with physical, chemical or other methods, so as to reach disinfection requirements and

decay rate
percentage of bacteria in the air that naturally disappear or die
3.3
extinction rate
percentage of the total number of bacteria in the air that naturally decayed and killed by disinfection
3.4
killing rate
percentage used for expressing the reduction number of microorganisms in microorganism killing test
