1 Scope This part specifies test methods of 2GHz WCDMA digital cellular mobile communication network user equipment (UE) in terms of system access, location area/routing area update, cell reselection, paging, cell update/URA update, switchover, circuit domain/packet domain service, HSDPA, supplementary services, value-added services, concurrent services, call performance, etc. This part is applicable to various types of single-mode UE of 2GHz WCDMA digital cellular mobile communication network, and WCDMA module of dual-mode UE and multi-mode UE. 2 Normative References The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this part, constitute provisions of this part. In YD/T 1547-2009 Technical Requirements for 2GHz WCDMA Digital Cellular Mobile Communication Network User Equipment (Phase 3), the tests involving network compatibility requirements shall be carried out in a commercial network environment wherever possible, taking into account the operational security of commercial networks. For some test items, if the network parameter adjustment and special configuration are required, it can be carried out in the laboratory environment. See Annex A for details. Reference test environment is as shown in Figure 1.
