1 Scope This part specifies methods for additional tests of 2GHz WCDMA digital cellular mobile communication network user equipment (UE) in terms of system access, location area/routing area update, circuit/packet domain cell re-selection, paging, cell update/URA update, handover, circuit/packet domain service, HSDPA, HSUPA, supplementary services, value-added services, concurrent services, call performance, basic functions, etc. This part is applicable to various types of single-mode WCDMA UE (Phase 4) supporting high speed packet access (HSPA), and dual-mode and multi-mode WCDMA UE. 2 Normative References The following documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this part. The test items shall be performed in the commercial network test environment as much as possible. Considering the operating security of the commercial network, some test items like those requiring network parameter adjustment and special configuration, can be performed in the test network environment.
