1 Scope
This standard specifies definitions, classifications, technical specifications, testing methods and inspection rules of surge protection of power supply for telecommunications.
This standard is applicable to AC distribution equipment for telecommunication stations/sites, oil engine control system, AC uninterruptible power supply equipment for communication, semiconductor rectifier equipment for telecommunication and high frequency switch-mode rectifier for telecommunication.
Power supply equipment for telecommunications integrated in the system may be implemented by reference.
